On Friday, October 28th, the entire sophomore class traveled to Saginaw Valley State University to attend Mi Career Quest, Middle Michigan. The region's largest career exploration event for high school students showcased dozens of careers in the five career clusters of Advanced Manufacturing, Agri-Business, Construction, Health Sciences, and Information Technology. Hosted by The Great Lakes Bay Region Michigan Works and Michigan Works Region 7B, Mi Career Quest is designed to be a highly interactive career preparation event that allows students to learn more about many of the hottest job prospects in Michigan. Over 75 area employers were there to interact with students and provide them with hands-on experiences in their respective fields. The students had a great time playing career related games and operating actual equipment used in these career fields.
